This website uses as little storage on your device as possible. Without your consent nothing is loaded from third parties and no data whatsoever is sent to Google.

Necessary storage — no consent required

This data sits in your browser's local storage, stays on your own device and is never transmitted. It is needed to remember your preferences:

  • eizenga-theme — remembers whether you want the site light, dark or automatic.
  • eizenga-lang-path — remembers whether you want the Dutch or English version.
  • eizenga-consent — remembers your choice on this page, so you do not have to make it on every visit.

This storage falls under the exemption for strictly necessary and functional purposes and therefore requires no consent. You can clear it by deleting the site data in your browser.

Statistics — only with your consent

If you consent, we load Google Analytics 4. Only at that point is Google's script fetched and are the following cookies set:

  • _ga — distinguishes visitors from one another. Retention: 2 years.
  • _ga_T9N45C9BNX — maintains session state. Retention: 2 years.

We have disabled advertising features, Google Signals and data sharing with Google. The statistics are used only to see which pages are visited and how visitors find the site. No profiles are built and no advertising takes place.

If you decline, Google's script is not loaded, these cookies are not set, and no request whatsoever goes to Google.

Changing or withdrawing your choice

At the bottom of every page there is a “Cookie preferences” button that reopens the choice. If you withdraw consent we delete the Analytics cookies immediately and the script is no longer loaded. Declining is exactly as easy as accepting and has no effect on your use of the site.

How long your choice lasts

Your choice is stored for one year, after which we ask again. You can of course change it sooner.

Managing cookies in your browser

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. That applies to every website you visit. Blocking all cookies may affect how other sites work; it will not affect this one.
